太空堡垒中国联盟成立于2001年1月24日，由kiki和M.D.始创，至今已拥有注册成员逾千人，成员遍及全国各大城市、港澳台地区、美国、法国、德国、日本、英国等；拥有十几个各具特色的成员子站，目前正努力与海外 Robotech 站点建立广泛联系，以拓展联盟的国际影响，走向世界。

太联以中文《太空堡垒》及原版《Robotech》为主，研究堡垒、发展堡垒，是所有太空堡垒同好交流与追梦的家园。除了提供丰富的权威性资料、最新信息、资源下载等，还拥有大量优秀的同人原创作品，是同好们交流原创、交流观点，以及与全球同好建立国际交流的最佳场所。同时在网上与现实中都经常举行聚会活动，加强网友之间的实际交流。
